Since 2012, we have dedicated ourselves to making a tangible impact in the lives of countless dogs and their people, many years before Life of Kai was officiated in 2021. Over the years, we supported individuals with spay/neuter services, empowered guardians through education, guidance, and humane, relationship-centered support, expanded access to behavior help for families facing financial hardship, and helped children create kinder future generations by show them that animals are sentient beings with feelings, needs and perspectives of their own through our Kind is Cool initiative and Empathy Library.

Our goal is simple - when we support both animals and the people, everyone win. At Life of Kai, donations are used where they are needed the most - to help people and their pets stay together, safely and with dignity.

Many community members want to help animals but don’t know where to start or how to make a meaningful difference. We exist for that exact reason. If the work we do aligns with your values, please trust us to carry it forward through fully, responsibly, and with heart.

What your support makes possible:

• $25 helps us stock our Empathy Library with 3 children’s books that teach compassion and kindness

• $50 provides essentials such as leashed, harness, warm coats and toys for pets of the unhoused or financially struggling guardians

• $100 allows us to sponsor adoption fees for individuals who face financial barriers

• $250 support community-based efforts that keep people and pets together during times of transition or hardship.

  Every gift helps us show up where compassion is needed the most.
